Keith King has served the citizens of Gordon County since April of 1997. He currently serves as the Assistant County Administrator and Project Manager for Gordon County Government. Throughout his career, Keith has held multiple roles within the organization, including IT Support Specialist and Equipment Operator with the Public Works Department.
In his capacity as Project Manager, Keith has overseen several major initiatives, including the construction of the Judicial Building, Courthouse, Health Department, and Animal Control Facility. He is currently managing the development of the Ranger Community Center, the Multi-purpose Agricultural Facility and Arena, and the new Morgue.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governors University and is a Certified Public Manager through the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government. He also holds certifications in Project Management.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Keith is active in his community. He enjoys spending time with his family, serving at his church in Adairsville, and exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains—particularly hiking the Appalachian Trail on Blood Mountain.
